In the process, it emerged that this was not a classic scientific project, however it was a project that specialists were participating in. The Board of Trustees of the Anne Frank Fonds decided early on not to participate in the project and to concentrate on the ongoing scientific analysis of its own archives in the Frank Family Center in Frankfurt.
