Annelies Marie Frank (ANNE FRANK), born in Frankfurt/Main on 12 June 1929, of German nationality.
 
August 1933 ANNE's father, Otto H. Frank, emigrates to Amsterdam; his family follows shortly afterwards.
Commencing 1934 ANNE attends the Montessori-School and later the Jewish school.
12 June 1942 (13th birthday) ANNE receives an autograph album that she uses as diary.
6 July 1942 The family hides in the annexe of a house at Prinsengracht 263. ANNE works intensively on her diary.
May 1944 ANNE begins to write a second version of her Diary, which she intends for publication, while continuing to work on her first version.
1 August 1944 Date of the last entry in the first version.
4 August 1944 Betrayal and arrest.
8 August 1944 Imprisoned in Westerbork (Holland) concentration camp.
3 to 6 September 1944 The family is transported on the last train from Westerbork (Holland) to Auschwitz concentration camp (Poland).
28 Oktober -
1 November 1944
Transfer from Auschwitz to Bergen-Belsen concentration camp near Hanover.
Late February / early March 1945 ANNE dies of exhaustion and typhoid fever. Her last resting place is one of the mass graves of Bergen-Belsen.
